FAQs
ANY QUESTIONS?
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out! You can contact us via WhatsApp at the numbers below:
Veronica: +1 (240) 813-5459
Javier: +505 8679 0189
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?
We recommend guests to arrive on Thursday, February 19th to attend pre-wedding celebrations.
WHERE DO YOU RECOMMEND WE STAY?
Please take a look at our “Travel and Stays” tab. We highly recommend that all guests stay in the Polanco area as our “host hotel” — the InterContinental Presidente is in that neighborhood and we will have transportation to the ceremony leaving from there. We’ll also be providing a discount code for this hotel.
If you prefer to explore other options, there are several beautiful hotels throughout the Polanco neighborhood. Airbnb is also a great choice, especially if you’re traveling with a group.
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO TRAVEL WITHIN THE CITY?
We recommend using uber to travel within the city. Uber can also be ordered from the airport to get to your hotels or airbnb.
WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED TO WEDDING EVENTS?
Complimentary transportation will be provided from the church to the reception at Jardín Rancho la Peña. At the end of the night, shuttles will return guests to the Hotel InterContinental Presidente at multiple intervals.
For your arrival at the church, we recommend using Uber. Please plan accordingly to ensure you arrive no later than 1:45 PM so you are seated on time.
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE WEDDING?
The dress code for the wedding is Black Tie. We recommend that men wear tuxedos and women wear formal gowns.
CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?
Please refer to the message sent by our wedding planners via WhatsApp to see the number of guests allocated to your invitation. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Veronica or Javier.
WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN MEXICO CITY IN FEBRUARY?
In late February, Mexico City’s average high temperatures range from approximately 72°F to 76°F (22°C to 24°C), while average lows are between 44°F and 47°F (7°C to 8°C).
WHEN IS THE LATEST DATE I CAN RSVP?
We kindly ask that you RSVP by January 15th, 2026 at the latest. Since the wedding will include a seated dinner, having a final guest count by this date is important—and truly appreciated!
You can confirm your attendance by messaging our wedding planner via WhatsApp to the number provided in your invitation. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
SHOULD I EXCHANGE CURRENCY WHEN I ARRIVE?
Most establishments in Mexico City do not accept U.S. dollars. While debit and credit cards are widely accepted, we recommend carrying a bit of cash in Mexican Pesos just in case! Avoid exchanging money at the airport, as rates are usually higher. Instead, use Casa de Cambio Toka International (Masaryk 360, Polanco) or Centro Cambiario Reforma (Av. Paseo de la Reforma 222, Juarez) for better rates.
WHAT ABOUT HAIR AND MAKEUP?
The InterContinental Presidente, our host hotel, has an on-site hair salon available to all guests. Some other salons we recommend are HER and Leonora Studio in Polanco.
